Version 2

Director:

Alison Fields Troyer, MA, MT-BC

Board-Certified Music Therapist

My clinical expertise and joy is in working with children and their families. I have observed time and time again the wonderful way in which children connect to music and how music in turn supports their development, personal expression, and connection with others.

I earned my undergraduate degree at Indiana University in 2008 and my master’s degree in Expressive Therapies and Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Music Therapy from Lesley University in 2013. I interned at Head Start and Early Head Start in the South End of Boston and at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. I became a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) in 2013 and went on to work in early intervention, supporting children with developmental delays and disabilities.

I currently provide music therapy to children and adolescents at home with their families, in public school settings and in community centers through Fields Music Therapy, LLC.
